Following the treatment, your skin will undergo a continuous process of producing new collagen, resulting in ongoing improvement for a period of 12 weeks or more. The results are exceptionally long-lasting and can be considered permanent. Depending on your individual goals and skin response, some individuals may find additional benefit from a second treatment, although this can vary from person to person.

After their session, clients can immediately resume their normal activities. It is common to experience a sensation similar to sunburn, especially if clients are particularly aware of the treated area. In such cases, over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen can be taken.

It is important not to pick, peel, or pull at the carbon crust that forms after the treatment. It is best to allow the crust to naturally slough away. The treated area should be kept free of all makeup, mascaras, creams, and lotions, except for the recommended aftercare products.

To avoid bacterial buildup, the area should be cleansed twice daily with mild soap and lukewarm boiled water.

Some swelling can be expected for one to five days after the treatment, although recovery times are generally shorter. This swelling is a normal reaction and part of the initial stages of skin healing and rebuilding. The swelling usually peaks on day 3 and subsides by day 5.

To prevent scabbing, clients should keep the area moist using the recommended aftercare products and consider adding additional vitamin C to their diet.

If at any time the area becomes hot, red, or shows signs of infection, clients must contact the clinic immediately.

Occasional weeping may occur, which is a normal part of the healing process.

As the area continues to heal and dry, a light crust may form on the skin. It is important not to pick at it and to keep it clean and dry.

Clients are required to schedule a review at the clinic six weeks after their session.

To avoid hyperpigmentation, clients must wear SPF50 and avoid sun exposure for at least six weeks.
