Frequently Asked Questions
When will I see results?
You will notice an instant boost immediately after just one treatment but as with all our skin treatments we recommend a course of at least 6 treatments to obtain optimum results. It should be noted that each person will react slightly differently to the treatment – whist some may reach their desired outcome after 6 treatments, others may need a course of 8 treatments.
How long will my results last?
This is the best bit!! Unlike with Botox that needs topping up every few months, once your course is complete your result can be maintained for as long as 2 YEARS dependant on lifestyle, diet and exercise regime. Whilst the initial outlay for the treatments may cost more in the long run it works out to be hugely financially beneficial!
Who is an ideal candidate?
An ideal candidate is anyone who feels they can benefit from tighter, healthier looking skin so long as they are over 18 years of age
All skin types are suitable.
Can I have an RF Facial if I have Botox or Fillers?
Allow at least 2 weeks to pass between your botox and RF treatments. Your botox needs up to 14 days to settle into your muscle tissue.
Normal Post-Treatment Reactions
You may experience mild heat and slight redness in the treated area – aloe vera may be applied to cool the area if necessary though this will pass quickly. This is a perfectly normal reaction after having RF treatments and the skin will settle very quickly.
Post Treatment Care
It should be noted that RF is not a substitute of a healthy lifestyle and taking care of your body.
Increasing your water intake to 1.5 litres of water a day and avoiding Caffeine & other toxins will further to help support the overall result and your body’s natural processes.
You are advised to avoid excessive heat (hot baths, direct sun) for at least 48 hours after your treatment and a neutral, un-perfumed moisturiser should be used on the area.
